Orthopaedic Imaging
North West MSK Imaging provides a comprehensive service covering all aspects of adult orthopaedic imaging. All our radiologists have extensive experience in interpretation of conventional MRI and MR Arthrography as well as CT and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound applications. We provide a full plain film service as well as fluoroscopic guided procedures such as joint injection and diagnostic aspiration.

Sports Medicine
Our access to state of the art MRI systems enables us to perform high quality MR examinations with protocols tailored to answer your clinical question and help plan treatment and rehabilitation programmes. We provide MR Arthrography of the shoulder, hip, ankle and post-operative knee. Our MSK ultrasound service provides rapid, dynamic assessment of sports injury related problems as well as image guided injection helping patients to achieve a rapid, safe return to activity.

Spine Imaging / Intervention
We perform all aspects of diagnostic spine imaging as well as man image guided spine interventions including lumbar and cervical nerve root blockade, facet joint injection, disc/bone biopsy. A well established vertebroplasty service is also available at some centres.

Rheumatology
North West MSK imaging consultants work closely with our referring rheumatologists offering high quality diagnostic plain film, ultrasound and MRI services helping you get the right diagnosis first time, enabling early intervention as well as monitoring therapeutic response. Our ultrasound guided joint injection service allows safe and accurate joint specific pharmaco-therapy delivery, performed in a clean, comfortable environment.

Medico-Legal Reporting
Northwest MSK Imaging provide a comprehensive medico-legal reporting service which includes performing all aspects of musculoskeletal imaging in support of medico-legal clinical reports. We also provide expert witness/second opinion reports covering the imaging of general orthopaedic, rheumatology, spinal and orthopaedic oncology medico-legal cases. Imaging may be performed at any of our listed centres including the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.
